Physical Abilities and Strength
It is a requirement to safely and regularly perform heavy lifting (<150lb) and carry that weight in a variety of challenging scenarios, including up and down stairs.

Our company operated on a 24/7 365 basis. As such, applicants must be capable and comfortable with walking and driving in all terrain and weather conditions, at all hours of the day and night.

The physicality of this work requires that team members to sit, stand, crouch, kneel, and lift all while following safe work procedures.
Availability and Preparedness
Due to the emergency response nature of the work, it is a requirement to remain available, fit for work, prepared, and able to respond promptly to calls during your shifts.

This work requires a person to be organized, dependable, and able to adapt to the emergency response nature of the work.
Mental Health and Resilience
The sensitive nature of our work requires a person who is mentally and emotionally prepared to encounter potentially challenging scenarios that can be triggering and/or disturbing.
Our work involves mental and emotional components. As such, it is required that an applicant be willing and able to complete the mandatory training, perform regular debriefings, and access support and resources as needed.
It is necessary and required that a team member be present for culturally diverse practices and that they perform their duties with integrity, ethics, and kindness.
Accessibility and Composure
As a transportation company, we require a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.

Due to the need to remain informed and respond in an emergent capacity, it is required that an applicant have access to a cell phone, vehicle, and the internet.

It is required to remain confidential in practice, as well as professional in appearance and demeanor.
